Educational Qualifications, Work Experience & Skills required
o Diploma in Early childhood Care and Education (E.C.C.Ed)—1 year / 2 year
o Bachelor in Home science – Human Development (B.H.Sc)
o E.C.C.Ed from IGNOU
Part time Diploma in E.C.C.Ed (6 month / 3 month)
Experience: - 0-5 Yrs Working Experience in Preschool teaching.
Roles and Responsibilities
o They shall be responsible for the welfare of all the children under their care, maintain discipline and will follow the guidelines laid down for the teaching process.
o Maintain attendance register of the children in her class and student’s profile containing details of every student in her class.
o Maintain Teachers log book
o Follow BEEHIVE lesson plans.
o Resource Kit and Teachers Kit, to be collected by the teacher from the office on joining.
o It is the duty of the teacher to ensure that every new student in her class has been issued the student’s kit on admission.
o The curriculum has to be taught as per the lesson plans provided.
o She will maintain and keep in good order the classroom and the equipment in it.
o The classroom boards have to be made according to the theme and changed as and when required.
o The students’ almanacs have to be regularly checked and filled out, as it is the means to communicate with the parents of the child.
o Teacher has to fill in the teacher’s log regularly and also keep an eye on the ayah/helper to ensure that their behavior with the children is good
o She will be required to follow up and enquire about students who have been absent for two days or more without prior information.
o Teacher to perform any secondary duty that may be assigned to her by the Head Teacher.
o She will be expected to extend full support and perform the work delegated to her for centre events and activities.
